Dr R Hange Maxillo facial and Oral Surgeon treats patients for a wide range of conditions in both office and hospital settings. These include dentoalveolar surgery (including wisdom teeth), dental and maxillofacial implants, pediatric oral surgery, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery, maxillofacial tumors, cleft lip and palate, major and minor bone grafting, snoring and sleep apnea, temporomandibular joint problems, and maxillofacial trauma.
Bone grafting is repairing implant sites with inadequate bone structure from previous extractions, gum disease, or injuries.
The bone is either obtained from a tissue bank or taken from your own available bone stock. Sinus bone grafts are also performed to replace bone in the posterior upper jaw. In addition, special membranes may be utilized that dissolve under the gum to protect the bone graft, as well as encourage bone regeneration.
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt within the mouth. When they align properly, and gum tissue is healthy, wisdom teeth do not have to be removed.
Unfortunately, this does not generally happen. The extraction of wisdom teeth is necessary when they are prevented from properly erupting within the mouth. They may grow sideways, partially emerge from the gum, and even remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. Impacted teeth can take many positions in the bone as they attempt to find a pathway that will allow them to erupt successfully.
Our office is equipped with modern technologies and techniques to complete major jaw surgeries such as Orthognatic Surgery and Cleft Lip or Palate.
Orthognatic Surgery improves facial appearance and ensures teeth meet correctly and function properly. Cleft Lip and Palate needs can be addressed multiple times as a child grows. If you are a candidate, our surgeon will work closely with your dentist and orthodontist during your treatment.
Treatment for facial trauma is complex and often involves airway control, bleeding control, reduction of swelling, prevention of infection.
Additionall, repairing of bone fractures, repairing of lacerations or soft tissue injury, and teeth reconstruction.

Your teeth affect your whole body. When they’re healthy, you’re healthier too. A missing tooth can affect your bite, speech and eating choices.
As you rely more on your remaining teeth, you increase the chance they will wear out prematurely, or be damaged or lost. You may also experience headaches and/or jaw pain. Therefore we can insert implants to your missing teeth
